Good evening Friends,
I wanted to ask you to keep my family in your prayers. My grandmother, Jessie Smith (my mom's mom) is having some health problems. It doesn't look really good. She had lung cancer about 10 years ago and had part of her lung removed leaving her with only 1 good lung. A few months they discovered a spot on her lung and as of yesterday the spot has almost tripled in size. This past weekend, Granny could not get enough oxygen and was actually turning blue. So we don't know what to expect. I am just so thankful that we've had her this past 10 years and was able to share getting married and having her 2 of the most beautiful great grandchildren. I love her so much, but can't stand to see her in so much pain. We are all getting ourselves prepared. The doctors have just told us all to get prepared, that they don't expect Granny to get any better.

Pics as Promised...
Howdy friend and family! I know I promised to have some new pictures, but I have to admit, I just didn't feel like blogging. I have had busy weeks. It been so funny, my Bible study this week was on having a positive attitude. It seemed like everyone knew that I was suppose to be having a positive attitude and they were determined to test my commitment. Everyday one thing after another!!! But what was so cool, it that at each moment, I would remember my study and start praying from guidance. I did have a pretty good week. Tonight, it's my night! The kids - gone, the hubby - working!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I TO DO????? Is it P&P time - both new and old???? MAYBE!!! For those who don't know what P&P is it is Pride and Prejudice the movies!! I finished the book several months ago and LOVE IT. I did start Emma by Jane Austen and it is very good - that is when I get the chance to sit and read (and not fall asleep) Well any way... I am going to post some of these adorable pictures of the girls...
I just love this one of the girls and Mamala, they are working so hard and all three are in deep concentration.
New fam pic.!! This was taken last Sunday before church.

Well it has been a long week...
AND it is only Wednesday!!! I'm surviving alone at work this. Thank the Lord for Ruthie. She works in the marketing dept and has helped me out a lot. I've printed more, mounted more, searched more and all kinds of stuff more than I have in my whole life. HAhaHa!! It's been a good week, just busy. I'm glad it's busy. At least I can say that I'm learning a lot about the process of the college. It's been at least a week since I got my P&P fix, so tonight I'm listening/watching it as I'm working on my freelance stuff. Yes, I'm taking a break to catch up on my blogging. We're having a new campus dedication tomorrow. I had to design a program, seat cards, welcome sign, campus map sign, and some other stuff, but my mind is blank. I had 19 signs to design and mount for a campus event today. I was a little nervous about mounted all the stuff, but now I'm not, I have had plenty of practice between yesterday and today. I think I'm adjusting to full time work pretty well. Oh, I started my new Bible study this past Sunday. We had a great turn out. We had 20 total and more were suppose to come, but had something come up!! We had young and older women. We're studying the Frazzle Female by Cindi Wood. I'm am looking forward to this study!! Well, my time is getting by. I hope to get some new photos of the girls posted soon, my wonderful father-in-law took some adorable pictures and I'm going to get him to burn me a CD. I can't wait to share them!!! Until then, you'll just have to sit and wait in suspense. Take Care and God Bless!!

Well okay!!! okay already!!
My first week of work has been blogged, so let me tell you about my other weeks of employment. They have been pretty fun. I've been able to design newspaper ads, class flyers, posters and that kind of stuff. They have been very nice to me and trying to ease me into things, BUT next week I will be all alone. My cohort, Denise is going on Vacation and my boss is also going out-of-town. I'm a little nervous, because I don't have access to our server yet and that is where most of the jobs are backed up to. BUT anyway enough about that - everything is going good a work and I enjoy it very much!! I do have some good news, my friend, Allison had her adorable little baby boy this weekend!! Here is a picture of the happy family.

Mom and baby are doing very well. Mom and Dad are a little sleep deprived, but in good spirits!! Well, I've got to run so I can get to bed, I've got an early morning. Oh yeah, pray for me, I'm starting my Bible study this coming weekend. I'm a little nervous about it. 'til next time.

My first day at work
Well, today was my first day of work. I was so excited and nervous last night, I could hardly sleep. Not to mention waking up and checking the time because I wasn't sure if I had the alarm set correctly, but I did. All went pretty well I did meet a lot of people! I can't even begin to remember all the names. I'm usually good with faces, but horrible with names. I have my own office with a window!! My boss was very sweet, she gave me a flower for my desk. BUT my office needs a little help. You know me and arranging furniture. I can't wait to get that started - maybe tomorrow if I'm not in the system yet. They've had some server problems and such. Well, I'm going to get a box of stuff together to take in to help homey up the office and make it more of my space. I'm very tired, but I had to blog a little bit.

Today has been one of those days...
Well, I started back to the gym this week trying to walk 2 miles a day. Today I decided I wouldn't go and try to get caught up on some housework. Boy was I wrong. I decided today that I was going to move Kaylee(16 months) out of her crib and into a a twin bed. Really it is just the mattress on the floor to get her use to the freedom. Kaylee was thrilled. She loved being able to walk around and lay on her bed and get up and lay back down. Emm loves it too. She has decided she wants her bed to be on the floor again too. The morning was going okay, I started doing some laundry, a little design work, washing lettuce and salad fixings, prepared lunch for the girls, and then Kay was ready to go to bed, so I took her into her room and laid her down she fussed a little bit but then she laid down and went to sleep. Man, could it really be this easy??? Yep, until it was time for her BIG sis to take her nap. (they share a room for those who don't know) Emm is not a easy nap taker BUT she is one who HAS to HAVE a nap or you'll want to kill her by 5PM. I'm trying to get her back into the school schedule so I started her nap time at around 12-12:30PM. She decided she just wasn't going to cooperate today at all. She'd get up to peepee, then she'd get up to tell me she loved me, then she'd get up to tell me good night, then she decided her baby sis looked to peaceful and woke her up after her being asleep for 30 min-1hr. I don't think I've ever been upset with her. Now, Kaylee thinks her nap is over and won't go to sleep. So finally after a lot of time and energy, Emm goes to sleep, but I'm stuck with Kay who is grumpy and won't go to sleep and I'm trying to get work done, housework done and well, I didn't get the shower I desperately needed and it is after 10PM and I'm writing this. I guess, the Lord is just preparing me to go back to work and be excited and happy to be leaving my girls. I know I'll miss them, but I really feel I need a break for at least a few hours during the day so I can enjoy them. Am I a bad mother? Some days I really question myself. I know everyone has bad days and children will be children, but I think my children are only bad for me!! I'm just tired! It is so sad that I stay up for hours at night exhausted just to have an hour or 2 to myself!! I really miss having me time. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my girls and my husband and I love spending time with them. Today has just been a long day and I'm extremely tired. I'm just a little stressed out too trying to figure out everything with going back to work, the girls to school? or should mac stay home and work at night? Well, just pray for us.
